HOW SHOULD I CARE FOR MY DISCO BEADS?

Your Disco Beads are made using super strong string which over a period of time will stretch slightly but should not break. Please keep the beads away from perfume and lotion as this can affect the colour of the beads. All sterling silver will tarnish over time, but it will happen much faster when it comes into contact with agents such as perfume, salty air, sulphur, skin creams, hairspray, chlorine and acidic skin ph. The amount of tarnishing (oxidation) that occurs is dependent on the skin and care habits of the wearer. Tarnishing is therefore not a manufacturing fault. We also recommend that you do not wear your jewellery whilst bathing, whilst in bed or during sporting activities.

Your beads will react with suncream lotion as well as perfume and body lotions, so please be careful in hot weather.  Even if you have applied the cream in the morning, if it is still on your skin in the evening, it will affect the beads.  This is also true if you get hot and sweaty, the colour may fade on the beads so please be aware.

HOW DO I RETURN MY DISCO BEADS?

For items purchased online or via a Disco Beads Ambassador, please contact head office in the first instance on info@discobeads.com.  They will email a returns form. For items purchased in a Disco Beads shop you will need to visit the Disco Beads store where the item(s) were purchased in order to receive a refund. A valid proof of purchase must be presented within 30 days of purchase and the items must be as new. If a receipt is not available then proof of transaction can be provided via bank/credit card statement. Please note that earrings are non-returnable for reasons of hygiene and safety. Custom made products can not be exchanged or refunded.  This does not affect your statutory rights.

HOW DO I EXCHANGE MY DISCO BEADS?

For items purchased online or via a Disco Beads Ambassador, please contact head office in the first instance on info@discobeads.com. We are happy to exchange any items purchased from a Disco Beads store. A valid proof of purchase or prrof of transaction must be presented within 30 days of purchase and the items must be as new. Any items for exchange without a receipt may, at our discretion, be exchanged at the lowest price from the previous 30 days. 

CAN I RETURN OR EXCHANGE DISCO BEADS JEWELLERY PURCHASED USING A GIFT CARD?

Disco Beads stores will return or exchange jewellery purchased using a gift card. Items must be as new with original tag attached. The amount refunded will be put back on to a gift card.

I DON'T HAVE A RECEIPT. CAN I STILL RECEIVE A REFUND, OR EXCHANGE MY DISCO BEADS JEWELLERY?

A receipt valid within 30 days of purchase must be presented to receive a full refund, however at our discretion we can accept proof of transaction in the form of bank/Credit card statement. An exchange without a receipt would be carried out at our discretion.

DOES DISCO BEADS JEWELLERY HAVE A WARRANTY / GUARANTEE?

We will repair or replace manufacturing faults free of charge up to 1 year from the original date of purchase. Please retain your receipt or pass it on to the gift recipient, as the original proof of purchase is the warranty. If a receipt is not available a credit card or bank statement will suffice. This does not affect your statutory rights. Please note that string items have a warranty of 6 months from date of purchase.

MY DISCO BEADS JEWELLERY IS DAMAGED. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Faulty or damaged items need to be returned to our head office for assessment. Contact via email on info@discobeads.com.

 

HOW SHOULD I STORE MY DISCO BEADS?

As with most jewellery it is always better if it can be stored away from natural sunlight and heat, in a protective (lined) jewellery box or a tarnish-resistant pouch. Your Disco Beads organza bag will help to protect your beads from scratching.

WHERE CAN I BUY GENUINE DISCO BEADS JEWELLERY IN THE UK?

We recommend that all Disco Beads jewellery is purchased from an authorised stockist or Disco Beads Ambassador so that you can be sure of the quality of the jewellery, excellent customer service and after sales care. 

WHAT ABOUT BRAND PROTECTION?

Disco Beads, like many other successful brands is constantly facing the challenge of counterfeiting and attempts by others to pass themselves and their products off as Disco Beads. It is illegal to sell counterfeit or fake products and we take this very seriously. We take serious action on a local level, as well as internationally, to stop counterfeiting of our products, and we strongly believe that our efforts will decrease the amount of infringes attempting to mislead you into believing that you are buying authentic Disco Beads Jewellery Should you come across any counterfeit Disco Beads, please report this to our head office. You will know our products by the authentic metal Disco Beads Jewellery Tag or the Disco Beads logo on packaging.
